Crows, Poppies and Treasures…This exploration delved into covetousness, and the idea of want and shiny things. This series evolved from only painting poppies, to crows with poppies, to crows, poppies and nests, and then the nests became my next collection of complicated tangles. Now, I play with wide open horizons and the liminal space in between land and water. Wouldn’t my crows be pleased with that kind of space swoop and holler!
