Iconic subject matter can be found in people, places, the natural world, the imagined world, monuments, moments in history and movements in art. Artists could submit portraits of iconic people, animals, landscapes, cityscapes, landmarks or buildings, historical moments and/or explore their own personal interpretations of an icon or subject matter they consider iconic.
I am an artist, art therapist and art educator who is inspired by beloved people and places. Metaphor, humour and play are dear to my creative process; the product takes care of itself when I dwell in the margins of safety and relish the moments of chaos; thank you for spending time with the products of my messy mind.
